We are excited to be supporting our client, a well-known consumer-goods company in their search for an experienced Group General Counsel.
The Company is recognised for innovation, high-quality products, and a strong market presence. With operations spanning multiple regions, they are committed to delivering excellence in the industry while maintaining a focus on sustainability, compliance, and corporate governance.
As they continue their global expansion, they are seeking a highly experienced Group General Counsel to lead the legal function and drive strategic legal initiatives.
Role Overview: The Group General Counsel will be responsible for overseeing all legal, compliance, litigation and regulatory affairs for the company. You will provide strategic guidance, manage legal risks, and ensure the company adheres to applicable laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Group GC with extensive experience in the consumer goods industry, a proven track record of leading large legal teams, and a deep expertise in global markets.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years of legal experience, with a strong focus on consumer goods, FMCG, or related industries.
- Proven track record in a Group General Counsel role within a multinational organisation.
- Experience leading and managing a large, global legal team.
- Deep knowledge of international corporate law, compliance frameworks, litigation, regulatory matters, and commercial contracts in the consumer goods sector.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, board members, and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex legal environments and provide proactive risk-based solutions.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to corporate governance best practices.
