Employment Advocate - Leading Employment Practice - Remote/Multiple Locations
We are currently recruiting for a market-leading Employment team that advises some of the UK’s largest and best-known employers on all aspects of employment. The role will involve a varied caseload including disciplinary and grievance issues, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, discrimination, and equal pay, with a particular focus on advocacy before the Employment Tribunal.
Hearings will include:
- Multi-day discrimination, whistleblowing, and detriment cases
- Unfair dismissal and wages claims
- Contentious preliminary hearings (jurisdiction, disability, applications, etc.)
- Case management preliminary hearings
The successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive
- Demonstrable experience of Employment Tribunal advocacy, including multi-day hearings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A pragmatic, client-focused approach and a genuine interest in employment law and advocacy
