We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed business on an exciting trajectory towards an IPO, seeking an exceptional Senior Corporate Counsel to join its expanding legal team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a rare opportunity to work at the centre of a fast-paced, high-growth organisation during a pivotal stage of its evolution. You will play a key role in shaping the legal function, supporting strategic decision-making and partnering closely with senior leadership as the business prepares for life as a public company.
The Role
- Reporting to senior legal leadership, you will take ownership of a broad and high-impact corporate workload, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments
- Corporate governance and board advisory matters
- Pre-initial public offering readiness and public company transition work
- Equity structuring and shareholder arrangements
- Complex cross-border corporate transactions and strategic projects
About You
- Immediately available or available to start at short notice
- Strong corporate law background, including mergers and acquisitions and governance
- Experience within private equity-backed businesses and/or exposure to initial public offering processes is highly desirable
- Commercially astute with strong judgement and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level
