Commercial Contracts/Tech Legal Counsel/FTC 12-14 months/Remote
We are working with a fast-growing award-winning private equity-backed SaaS-based technology business who require an immediately available skilled commercial contracts or SaaS counsel to work on a series of essential projects on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC).
You will come with commercial legal experience to working with the General Counsel, in the provision of commercially focused legal services in direct relation to these projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a series of high level and exciting projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial and SaaS contracts and agreements.
- Supporting senior lawyers in team on general M&A transactions and advising on contentious matters
- Supporting external and internal project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.
Experience required:
- Qualified lawyer from a reputable law firm or in-house role
- Exposure to working with a broad range of legal practice areas and issues.
- Strong technical contract law knowledge with experience of negotiating commercial contracts is essential.
- Some Technology and Outsourcing experience would be an advantage
- Commercial mindset and negotiation skills
