A senior governance professional is sought to act as deputy to the Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary within a large, regulated organisation. This role plays a key part in supporting effective corporate governance, Board and Committee operations, regulatory compliance, and organisational decision-making. Working closely with senior executives, Board members and non-executive directors, you will provide expert governance advice, oversee governance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation. Lead the planning and delivery of Board and Committee meetings and annual governance cycles. Advise senior stakeholders on corporate governance, regulatory requirements and director responsibilities. Maintain and enhance governance frameworks, policies and decision-making processes. Support governance aspects of strategic projects, transactions and organisational change initiatives. Build strong relationships across Executive and Board-level stakeholders. Strong knowledge of corporate governance, statutory and regulatory requirements.
