We are working with a leading international resort developer seeking a Senior Construction Lawyer to support two major resort developments, each valued at approximately US$400 million. This is a key opportunity to join a growing organisation at an early stage of major expansion, providing legal support across complex, high-value construction and development projects. The role is fully remote (UK) and suited to a senior lawyer who can operate independently, deliver commercially focused advice, and work directly with senior stakeholders.

The Role

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and development agreements
  • Advising on procurement, contract strategy and delivery structures
  • Supporting contract administration and risk management
  • Providing advice on construction, development and infrastructure matters
  • Working with senior leadership and external advisors
  • Managing legal and commercial risk across jurisdictions
  • Non-contentious construction focus with strong front-end project work.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or equivalent (England & Wales essential)
  • Strong non-contentious construction experience
  • Experience on major construction, development or infrastructure projects
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
  • Strong commercial judgement and contract drafting skills
  • Advantageous
  • Hospitality, resort or mixed-use development experience
  • AIA contract familiarity
  • Caribbean or international project exposure
  • Real estate / development experience
  • Some contentious construction experience (risk and dispute awareness)

Contract Details

  • Competitive day rate
  • Fully remote (UK-based)
  • Some working alignment with Eastern Time (ET) zones may be required
  • Immediate or short-notice start preferred
