We are working with a well-known, brand-led organisation to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel on a 6β12 month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate / commercial lawyer to join a fast-paced, dynamic business supporting a portfolio of high-profile household brands.
The Opportunity
This is a broad generalist role suited to a senior lawyer who is comfortable operating at pace and acting as a trusted adviser to the business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, marketing, digital and operational teams, providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice across a wide range of matters. The client is looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, is happy to roll up their sleeves, and takes ownership of whatever legal issues come across the desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing senior-level legal advice across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of agreements, including:
- IT and technology contracts
- Supplier and procurement agreements
- Influencer and brand partnership agreements
- Advertising, marketing and promotional agreements
About You
- Qualified lawyer (UK or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience (5-10 years)
- Broad corporate / commercial background with a genuine generalist skillset
- Confident operating at a senior level within a business
- Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable working autonomously
- Enjoys variety and thrives in a dynamic, high-volume environment
- Experience advising brand-led or consumer-facing businesses is highly advantageous
