Kingsley Developments has an exciting opportunity within our rapidly growing residential development business for an architect/design technician to assist in various areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping with planning permission drawings
- Developing full construction packages
- Conducting pre-construction and pre-purchase due diligence
- Supporting site teams in project delivery
- Working closely with our Design and Technical Director at our Truro Office on Lemon Street
The salary ranges from Β£35-45k, negotiable based on experience, plus bonuses and significant career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in producing feasibility layouts, developing house types, and standard details
- Assist in preparing drawings and documents for planning permission submissions
- Assist in preparing drawings and documents for building control applications, including correspondence with Building Control
- Respond to site queries and RFIs
- Correspond with consultants and review information received
- Review manufacturer and subcontractor information
- Compile and track documents and drawings
- Review utilities, including existing connections and obtaining quotes for new services
- Provide quantities for tender purposes
- Review interior specifications and products
- Assess potential sites
Requirements:
- Architectural degree or relevant architectural experience
- Proficiency in CAD, Archicad, or 3D modeling preferred but not essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in producing planning and building control drawings
- Experience in creating technical drawings and documentation
- Experience in reviewing consultant information
- Experience in stakeholder and consultant correspondence
