ABOUT KINGSLEY

Kingsley is a boutique yet highly strategic development firm who are rapidly expanding across Cornwall where we currently focus all our activity. With 30 sites in our pipeline and growing every month, we’re capitalising on the exceptional opportunities unique to the region. We are a privately owned company headquartered in Truro, led by a small, dynamic leadership team and a group of like-minded, ambitious individuals. Kingsley is entrepreneurial at its core — we challenge convention, move decisively, and operate with a level of agility and creativity that sets us apart within our niche. Our developments offer exceptionally rare product: hundreds of new homes across carefully selected small and medium-scale sites in locations where new-build opportunities are almost unheard of. These are not generic, volume-builder schemes — they are thoughtfully designed, high-quality homes in places where people don’t expect to see new development at all.

Our Three Core Brands:

  • Kingsley Signature Homes: Bespoke, design-led developments of a higher calibre, each with architecture tailored specifically to its site and surroundings.
  • Kingsley Cornish Homes: A new collection of Cornish cottages, bungalows and houses delivered across medium and larger village-based sites, blending local character with modern living.
  • Kingsley Land & Planning: A long-established arm of the business, working directly with landowners to secure planning permission. This strategic approach has been central to our success, enabling us to acquire land pre-planning rather than relying solely on the competitive open market.

Role is to assist managing the:

  • Pre-purchase: assist the commercial team to appraise new opportunities and identify appropriate scheme to design and build.
  • Pre-construction: development of our industry leading marketing packages (pre- and post-launch), site setup with signage/hoarding design (show home if applicable, on medium sized sites), CGIs, VR tours, brochures, specifications, set prices with the board and agents.
  • During construction / sales process: assist with answering queries, assist with home/site viewings and working with the site teams and Construction leadership to ensure the site is presented how it should be for marketing, sales progression including working with lawyers to answer contract enquiries.
  • Working with agencies and the managing director, reviewing pricing and competition to achieve as many off plan sales as possible.
  • Post construction – handover new homes (ensuring our high standards are consistently met) and if any homes have not been sold off plan then put a plan in place to achieve sales.
  • Regulatory & information – keep systems and procedures up to date in accordance with various rules and policies (UK law and in-house).

Who this would suit / what you need:

  • Customer facing background, ideally agency or experience with another developers sales/marketing team.
  • Superb customer relationship skills.
  • 5 years experience in the industry.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • High attention to detail and great communication skills.
  • Driven mindset to achieve excellence and sales – potential to become a company director for the right candidate.
  • Positive mindset and can do attitude.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
