Our client is an award-winning global provider of foreign exchange and payment solutions, on a mission to become the number one service-led alternative banking partner in EMEA for corporates and Financial Institutions that add value beyond the transaction.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing and growing relationships with established financial institution clients, including PSPs, EMIs, FX brokers, and CFD firms. The role focuses on client retention, revenue growth, and long-term account development, ensuring clients remain engaged while identifying opportunities to expand wallet share across payments infrastructure and FX services. You will act as a strategic partner to fintech clients, balancing commercial growth with compliance requirements, while leading a high-performing retention team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Build and lead a high-performing fintech retention team
    • Set and drive KPIs across retention, revenue growth, and client satisfaction
    • Coach and develop team members across client management, upselling, and compliance awareness
  • Client Retention & Account Management
    • Own and develop relationships with key fintech clients (PSPs, EMIs, CFD and FX brokers)
    • Design and execute retention strategies to reduce churn and increase client lifetime value
    • Lead regular client reviews covering volumes, pricing, FX usage, and future growth plans
    • Act as the senior escalation point for client issues
  • Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
    • Identify and deliver cross-sell opportunities across FX and payment solutions
    • Manage pricing and profitability across key accounts
    • Work with clients on volume forecasting and growth planning
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Partner with product teams to improve payments, API integrations, and client experience
    • Support sales teams with insights and client references
    • Work closely with operations and treasury to ensure smooth execution of transactions
  • Data & Performance Management
    • Monitor client performance including volumes, revenue, and risk indicators
    • Report on retention, growth, and key account metrics
    • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM data
Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in fintech, FX, or payments account management
  • Deep understanding of PSPs, EMIs, FX brokers, and CFD client models
  • Experience managing high-risk clients within a regulated environment
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to drive revenue growth
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to client management
