We are working on a mandate with a well-established global financial services platform to support the build-out of an Interest Rate Structuring Sales capability within its broader FX franchise. This is a highly strategic hire, focused on enhancing and expanding existing client relationships across corporates and funds by introducing interest rate solutions alongside an already successful FX offering. The role is designed for an individual who can operate in a front-office, revenue-generating capacity, leveraging existing infrastructure, client connectivity, and market presence. Key Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering an Interest Rate Structuring Sales offering aligned with the existing FX client base
- Sourcing and executing interest rate hedging opportunities (e.g. swaps, caps, collars, structured solutions) for corporate and fund clients
- Building and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive client engagement
- Structuring tailored solutions to meet client objectives, including hedging, yield enhancement, and liability management
- Working closely with internal trading and structuring teams to ensure seamless execution
- Driving revenue growth while maintaining a strong client-first approach and adhering to regulatory standards
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on interest rate markets and macroeconomic developments
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the rates proposition within a broader multi-asset framework
Essential Experience & Skills
- 4–6 years’ experience in interest rate sales, structuring, or derivatives solutions
- Proven track record of originating and executing business with corporate and/or institutional clients
- Strong understanding of interest rate products (IRS, caps/floors, swaptions, structured solutions)
- Commercially driven, with the ability to identify and monetise opportunities within an existing client base
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Good awareness of macroeconomic trends and interest rate markets
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to navigate a multi-team environment effectively
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and client-first conduct
