This is a varied, hands-on role offering responsibility for the day-to-day management of office accounts within a supportive and friendly working environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of office bookkeeping functions, ensuring accurate financial record keeping and supporting the smooth running of the business’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and account files
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Managing payroll journals and financial records
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Processing invoices and payment approvals
  • Managing creditor and debtor accounts
  • Handling supplier queries and general finance enquiries
  • Bank reconciliation and ledger management
  • Producing financial reports for directors
  • Supporting year-end accounting processes and liaising with external accountants

About You

  • AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel
