We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales or Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our partnerships and client base across housing associations, local authorities, landlords, and private homeowners. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.
- Drive Business Growth: Lead the development and execution of strategies to generate and convert new business opportunities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with housing associations, local authorities, social and private landlords, and homeowners.
- Keep abreast of policy developments which could affect funding mechanisms.
Market Analysis: Monitor policy, regulatory, and industry trends to inform business development strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including operations, marketing, and finance to ensure effective service delivery and project implementation.
A proactive, commercially-minded professional with a passion for sustainability and proven success in business development or sales. Demonstrable experience in sales, business development, or account management (preferably within energy efficiency, sustainability, housing, or related sectors). Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills. Existing network within housing associations, local authorities, or the property/retrofit sector.
