My client is a well-established law firm in Yorkshire, committed to providing expert legal services to individuals and businesses. We pride ourselves on delivering professional, approachable, and high-quality legal advice to our clients.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Practice Manager to oversee the smooth running of our firm’s operations. This is a part-time role (25–30 hours per week) with flexible working from home, while attending occasional meetings in the office. The successful candidate will be a key part of the team, supporting our lawyers and staff in delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring efficient workflows and smooth administrative processes.
  • Manage financial operations, including billing, invoicing, budgeting, and monitoring cash flow.
  • Lead and support administrative and office staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards.
  • Assist with strategic planning, business development, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain high levels of client service, handling administrative client queries where required.
  • Organize meetings, events, and internal communications for the firm.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Practice Manager, Office Manager, or similar role, ideally in a legal environment.
  • Strong knowledge of office administration, financial management, and HR processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Comfortable working remotely but able to attend occasional in-office meetings in Yorkshire.
  • Professional, approachable, and committed to delivering high standards.
