Our client is one of the UK’s fastest-growing vehicle remarketing specialists with over 130 team members across 2 UK award winning auction facilities. They are now looking for a Marketing Executive to join their fast expanding team.
Salary: £25-£30k (based on experience) Up to 10% profit related bonus (subject to company achieving annual profitability target)
The Marketing Executive role is a dynamic position within the Marketing team, providing vital support to both of company sites. Operating in a close-knit team, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, contributing to the seamless operation and success of the business. - Design and implementation of targeted marketing campaigns focusing on sales events for buyers across both digital and physical marketing – covering social media, industry-specific publications, CRM, printed literature, blog/news, website, notification platforms and other relevant marketing solutions
- Working with the Marketing Manager to develop a clear strategy and objectives to acquire new business and maintain existing customers
- Work with the business development team to identify new business targets and supporting their marketing needs to move prospects down the sales funnels
- Work with the in-house buyer services team to enhance the customer experience using existing customer data, upcoming sales/stock and historic vehicle data
- Work with the senior management team to develop a consistent customer experience across all brand marketing
- Plan and manage budgets for regular non-sale events and engagement ideas, designed to reward and inspire customers
- Manage and manipulate data across the business using BI and in-house reporting facilities to create trends and stories for internal and external presentation
- Developing B2C sales in local communities to support future business growth plans of new sites
- Ensure consistency across all marketing and communications, working within company brand guidelines
- Responsibility for content management across all social media channels, utilising existing social platforms and identifying new social channels most appropriate to promote buyer events
- Creating social campaign plans to work towards industry award nominations in 2025/26
- Develop KPl’s to monitor and maximise business goals using analytics and data
- Carry out regular analysis to ensure we are delivering the best experience in the industry, both locally and nationally.
The Person
This position would suit someone looking for a fast-paced marketing role with previous marketing experience, alongside:
- An understanding of marketing regular events, with a capacity to prioritise and manage multiple events simultaneously
- A sound understanding of business, customer service and sales to maximise revenue
- A out-going personality with great people skills who can pro-actively inspire and drive performance internally and externally
- A confident persona who would be happy in front of a camera would be advantageous
- A knowledge of vehicles or the automotive industry
- A creative mindset – continually developing innovative ideas
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- A basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative package
Education & Experience
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, ideally to include Media, Marketing or IT
- A minimum of 2-3 years working experience within a marketing role is preferable
- Experience of B2B marketing, the automotive industry or events would be advantageous
