This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and early years education.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the care and development of children aged five months to four years in a warm and nurturing environment. The nursery is divided into 3 departments: Baby room, toddlers room, preschool room.
Their role will include:
- Assisting in planning and delivering engaging activities that encourage learning, creativity, and social skills
- Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment
- Supporting children’s personal development, including hygiene, meal times, and routines
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social interactions
- Working closely with experienced early years educators to implement best practices
- Ensuring the nursery environment remains clean, organised, and well-maintained
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Maintaining high standards of safety, safeguarding, and care in line with regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
- Experience working with young children in an early years setting (desirable)
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding
- Passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
They are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, and the successful candidate will work 40 hours per week within these hours. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and eager to develop their skills in early years education.
