The Opportunity
An established and highly regarded law firm in Henley-on-Thames is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Fee Earner to join its busy Commercial Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for either a permanent candidate or a locum looking for flexibility. The successful applicant will manage a varied commercial property caseload while working within a supportive, professional and client-focused environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for handling a broad range of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion, providing practical legal advice and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing your own caseload of commercial property matters.
- Handling acquisitions, disposals, leases, lease renewals and other commercial property transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of legal documentation.
- Conducting due diligence and reviewing property documentation.
- Providing commercially focused legal advice to clients.
- Liaising with clients, lenders, agents and other professional advisers.
- Ensuring files are managed efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working within Commercial Property law.
- The ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- A commercial mindset with a client-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and professional attitude.
Experience Required
- Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or experienced Commercial Property Fee Earner.
- Previous experience handling a broad range of commercial property transactions is essential.
- Locum Commercial Property Lawyers are encouraged to apply.
