About the Role

A fantastic law firm is seeking a commercially minded and motivated Commercial Litigator with 3–6 years’ post-qualification experience to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied caseload of high-quality dispute resolution matters within a supportive and flexible working environment. The role offers hybrid working, with the option for both full-time and part-time arrangements to support work–life balance while maintaining high standards of client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
  • Advising clients on a range of disputes including contractual disputes, business disagreements, and debt recovery
  • Drafting legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
  • Conducting negotiations and exploring alternative dispute resolution options (mediation/settlement)
  • Representing clients in court proceedings where required
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to support wider dispute resolution work

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3–6 years’ PQE in commercial litigation
  • Strong experience handling a range of civil and/or commercial disputes
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently
  • Strong commercial awareness and client-focused approach
  • Confident communicator with a proactive attitude
