About the Role
A fantastic law firm is seeking a commercially minded and motivated Commercial Litigator with 3–6 years’ post-qualification experience to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied caseload of high-quality dispute resolution matters within a supportive and flexible working environment. The role offers hybrid working, with the option for both full-time and part-time arrangements to support work–life balance while maintaining high standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
- Advising clients on a range of disputes including contractual disputes, business disagreements, and debt recovery
- Drafting legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
- Conducting negotiations and exploring alternative dispute resolution options (mediation/settlement)
- Representing clients in court proceedings where required
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to support wider dispute resolution work
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3–6 years’ PQE in commercial litigation
- Strong experience handling a range of civil and/or commercial disputes
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently
- Strong commercial awareness and client-focused approach
- Confident communicator with a proactive attitude
