About the Role
My client is looking for an experienced and motivated Paralegal to join their team based in Cheshire.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a legal environment, with experience in litigation and/or personal injury (PI) being highly desirable. This role would suit someone who has developed practical legal skills and is confident supporting fee earners with day-to-day casework.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors and fee earners with the management of legal cases.
- Supporting litigation and personal injury matters, where applicable.
- Preparing, reviewing and organising legal documents and correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files.
- Liaising professionally with clients, colleagues and other parties.
- Undertaking legal research and general administrative duties as required.
- Supporting the progression of cases and ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a legal environment is essential.
- Experience in litigation and/or personal injury law is highly desirable.
- A good understanding of legal procedures and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
Please note: Candidates with a law degree but no practical legal experience are unlikely to be suitable for this position.
