Salary: £28,000–£36,000 DOE About the Role Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join their established property team based in Whitstable, near Canterbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal secretary with residential conveyancing experience to provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to a busy property department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of conveyancing matters while delivering excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and conveyancing fee earners.
Assist with the progression of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence and reports.
Manage diaries, appointments and client communications.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other legal professionals.
Open and maintain client files, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Assist with property searches, enquiries and general conveyancing administration.
Monitor deadlines and ensure matters progress efficiently.
Handle general administrative tasks to support the wider property team.
About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Secretary or Legal Secretary within a residential property team.
A good understanding of the conveyancing process.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.
