RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Higher Education and Careers Department
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Assisting the Head of Higher Education and Careers and other members of the Department in the implementation and augmentation of the programme of Careers, Higher Education, Information and Guidance throughout the school.
DUTIES: The postholder will:
- Be the first point of contact for all visitors to the Careers Department.
- Assist students with queries and signpost them to the appropriate person/resources.
- Assist with the organisation and administration of events for the Careers Department to include:
- Annual Careers Evening
- Annual Higher Education Fair
- Annual subject specific events
- Lunchtime Talks
- Other ad hoc events
- Administration of the timetable, booking speakers, organising staffing, arranging and recording of registers, room bookings, resources and distribution of relevant publicity.
