The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

Salary: 40k - OTE 20K. Must be able to travel to the office in Surrey 2 times a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Business Development Manager role is a hunter/farmer position responsible for prospecting and identifying new business leads, pitching, and building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Responsible for B2B sales, driving customer acquisition, and converting leads into sales across SME, National and Blue Chip customers.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.
  • Regularly prospecting for new business via self-sourced and business leads, generating leads and cold calling prospective customers.
  • Driving new customer acquisition growth by making outbound calls to prospective businesses using CRM, seeking out appropriate contacts within the organisation.
  • Recording all information and tracking within CRM.
  • Meeting with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Building future sales by managing a pipeline of prospects through customer relationship building and regular prospecting.
  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients.
  • Pitching Herd Synergy to new and existing clients.
  • Being the Herd Approved specialist - pitching for and assisting other BDMs, albeit sales will be required across the HA, HB and HC spectrum.
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying abreast of new trends.
  • Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching and exceeding them.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the Herd’s solutions, the competition in the industry and positioning.
  • Being commercially aware and able to deliver profitable proposals that meet internal guidelines.
