Peterborough Foodbank Lead Community Guider
Thank you for your interest in the role of Lead Community Guider (Fixed Term Contract).
We are looking for a Lead Community Guider to help deliver a 12-month pilot programme at Peterborough Foodbank, supporting people to move beyond crisis and reduce their reliance on emergency food support.
The role will involve coordinating volunteers, working with local partners, helping develop a new training model, and gathering learning to shape future support. We are looking for someone organised, compassionate and confident working with people, volunteers and community organisations.
You will work day-to-day with foodbank staff and volunteers, people accessing foodbank support, Citizens Advice Peterborough, Trussell, and other local community partners.
At KingsGate Community Church, you will be joining a committed and supportive team who care deeply about serving the local community and working well together.
There will be an opportunity to visit the project before interview if shortlisted.
1st Interviews, including IT skills test, will take place on Thursday 29 October 2026
2nd Interviews will take place on Thursday 5 November 2026
