Accountable to

Pastoral Coordinator and Area Pastor Team Leader

Role description

Working directly with the Pastoral Coordinator and Area Pastor Team to assist with the coordination and administration of the Kings Gate Next Steps Courses.

Hours

4-6 hours weekly

Specific tasks

  • Overseeing the successful delivery of all in-person Next Steps courses.
  • Working with the pastoral team to ensure all room bookings and resources are in place.
  • Liaising with media and production teams for AV requirements.
  • Supporting the pastoral team with any administration tasks for the online Next Steps course.
  • Managing all course applications and communicating with participants.
  • Overseeing the coordination of volunteer group leaders and course hosts.
  • Helping to promote the course at key events and as part of the discipleship pathway e. g. welcome lunch
  • Inputting into strategic planning for further development and delivery of the course.
  • Ensuring the database is updated following completion of the course.

Person specification

  • Ability to provide a Kings Gate pastoral reference.
  • Kings Gate Partner.
  • Regular attendance at a Life Group.
  • Key skills, attributes and/or experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in an administration role.
