Role Overview
The KS4 Maths Coordinator will motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards. The successful candidate will lead high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment within the Maths department.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure excellent pupil outcomes in GCSE examinations.
- Build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils.
- Inspire and lead high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment.
- Represent and support pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.
Qualifications
- Proven track record or potential to secure excellent GCSE outcomes.
- Dynamic and ambitious teaching experience.
- Experience representing and supporting pupils with SEN, behavioural and academic needs.
- Meeting the person specification and subject knowledge.
- Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
