About the role
We're hiring a commercially minded, creative Junior Marketer to join Kingsdown Water on a 6-month part-time contract (2-3 days per week) followed by a performance-dependent permanent job offer after six months. This is a hands-on position for a recent graduate who wants to learn all aspects of consumer marketing – from social content creation and visual asset editing to paid ads, performance tracking, and improving our e-commerce presence. There will also be an opportunity to learn sales skills for interested candidates.
Why this matters
You'll play a visible role in our launch into consumer‐facing retail in a brand new canned format – an opportunity to be a major figure on a project that will shape the direct to consumer face of Kingsdown as we scale our canned range.
Key responsibilities
- Create eye‐catching social media content (especially Instagram) and visual assets for posts and ads.
- Help plan, set up and optimise paid campaigns across Meta and Google to drive conversion and direct online sales (performance focus).
- Use creative tools and be open to AI-assisted image/content generation to speed design and iteration.
- Assist with webshop admin and updates to ensure product listings and launches are commercial-ready, collaborating with our web-maintenance team.
- Track campaign performance, report insights, and spot optimisations to improve ROAS and online sales.
- Work closely with the Marketing Lead to learn B2B and B2C content strategy and support the rollout of the canned product launch in 2027.
Who we're looking for
- Recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related subject – available for a September start is preferred. We'd also love to hear from non-university candidates who can demonstrate the relevant skills and mindset.
- Creative and digitally fluent: experience with social platforms Instagram and LinkedIn, basic visual editing (Canva/Photoshop), and a curiosity for paid advertising. A demonstrable aesthetic instinct is essential.
- Commercially minded: focused on content that drives conversion under brand direction.
- Proactive learner: keen to learn ad performance tracking, webshop management, and practical marketing operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines, and flex between collaboration and independent work.
- Able to attend collaboration days at least once a week in London.
How to apply
Send a CV, cover letter and a short portfolio or links to social posts/creative work to mariella@kingsdownwater.co.uk with the subject 'Junior Marketer – [Your Name]'. Please include confirmation you can commit to a September start and whether you'd be interested in the permanent, full-time role after 6 months. An interview will follow for shortlisted candidates, and possibly a brief assignment.
