Reporting to the Head of DT, this post involves preparing classrooms and workshops, demonstrating and assisting in practical activities, and managing equipment and materials under Health and Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage classroom and workshop equipment.
  • Assist pupils and staff in practical activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.

Qualifications

  • GCSE in at least three subjects and one year relevant experience or two years technician experience with in-service training.
  • Experience using circular saw, planes, bandsaw, and knowledge of CAD/CAM e.g. Techsoft, Sketchup, Fusion 360.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety policies.
