Are you a Technical Documents Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer looking for a new role? Are you happy liaising with Production and NPD Teams to control technical data and project documents? Are you looking for a role with a good mix of technical admin and project work?
Kingscroft have been engaged to recruit for a Technical Documents Engineer for a specialist manufacturing business. In this role, you will work closely with the Production and Product Development teams to ensure project control, technical specification, safety and material documentation is maintained and developed on a variety of projects.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a good understanding of manufacturing engineering, NPD processes and Engineering Change management administration. The role would suit an experienced engineering or project administrator or a manufacturing graduate looking to develop their career with a fantastic business.
The role will involve:
- Maintaining master tagged samples, sample room, gauge requests, and sample rack.
- Maintaining calibration records.
- Leading handover meetings of new products, reviewing/requesting information for set ups, packing, gauges etc.
- Creating part codes, BOM set ups narrations on Syspro.
- Creating and managing the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
- Creating sample requests, and issuing, updating tracker when complete.
- Liaising with purchasing on new materials, packaging, Tech/Material Safety data.
