Are you a Quality Manager looking for a new role Do you have experience as a Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer in a high volume manufacturing environment Are you looking for a role Quality Manager role with production quality and systems responsibilities Kingscroft have been engaged to recruit for a Quality Manager for the fast growing production area of a specialist manufacturing business. As the ideal candidate you will have experience of managing and improving system compliance and managing product quality conformance. You will be experienced at working with manufacturing teams, leading investigations and delivering production improvement to drive customer satisfaction. Your role and responsibilities will include: To liaise with suppliers and customers (internal and external) on all quality related issues. Facilitate and communicate the quality expectations throughout the production unit. Effectively interact with Production, Commercial, and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products. To manage and develop Quality support staff. To participate in APQP activities on all new or changed products. As part of the APQP team, prepare quality related documentation for all new or changed products. Generate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), including use of CMM, where applicable, and documentation for all new or changed products as required by the Customer. To manage internal audits of the Management System, processes, and products at defined frequencies. Maintenance of the calibration system for all measuring equipment. To Lead in and where necessary facilitate, robust problem-solving activities in response to internal and external concerns. (8D) To assist in the development of consistent processes for data collection and the preparation and reporting of KPIs that support Company objectives. Deliver a weekly report to the Commercial Manager on activities, progress, and internal and external issues Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international standards, current and future legislation as applicable. To attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills. To provide support and cover in the absence of colleagues and to undertake any such other appropriate duties as directed by the Commercial Manager or Group Director.
