Have you supported QHSE functions and are looking for a new role as a QHSE Officer? Are you capable of working across manufacturing operations maintaining and developing QHSE standards? Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a QHSE Officer for a SME Manufacturing business based in Telford. As the ideal candidate, you will have worked in a production or technical environment and be capable of maintaining standards such as 9001, 45001, 14001 and 50001 across Quality, H&S, Environmental and Energy. The role is at Officer level so will be supported and developed by Senior Management and resource from the wider manufacturing group.
Your duties will include:
- To comply with and enforce all Group and Site policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- To ensure that the requirements of the international and our Customers standards are fully met through the development, maintenance and enforcement of a suitable management systems.
- To promote a strong site compliance culture.
- To direct and control quality related projects, utilising the appropriate tools and techniques, to promote and continually improve quality and performance targets throughout the organisation.
- To agree control parameters for all on-site processes, identify and develop methods for controlling and implement monitors for reporting against these significant parameters.
- To report on the site’s performance against agreed targets and objectives.
- To provide the support necessary to ensure that all aspects of the site’s system are maintained and continually improved.
- To minimise scrap and maximise levels of Customer satisfaction by the implementation of robust root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
- To carry out internal audits of the Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and Energy management systems, processes and products.
- To maintain the calibration system for all measuring equipment.
- To participate in and where necessary facilitate, robust problem solving activities in response to internal and external concerns.
- To assist in the development of consistent processes for data collection and the preparation and reporting of KPI’s that support company objectives.
- Implement and maintain a 6S housekeeping system that is sustainable and achieves recognised improvement.
