Are you a Production Foreman looking for a new role? Are you confident in organising and leading the shop floor and driving best practice? Kingscroft has been asked to recruit for a Production Foreman for a specialist manufacturing business based in Telford.

As the ideal candidate, you will have had previous experience as a Production Manager, Supervisor, or Production Foreman and be confident in controlling and driving shop floor production. You will be experienced in leading the day-to-day production goals and have an eye on longer-term shop floor improvements.

Main duties/Tasks:

  • Responsible for driving Health & Safety in all areas on the shop floor.
  • Continuously drive and implement new 6S ideas and improvements to achieve exceptional standards while maintaining an active standard.
  • Chair production and relevant meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of the company’s corporate strategy and lead strategy development in the production area.
  • Direct and control the production function to ensure that finished goods of the required quality standard are available to customers within agreed costs and at the right times (OTIF).
  • Develop the team, especially team leaders; train, support, and give one-to-one advice where needed.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with all other managers to ensure effective co-ordination of all operations.
