Are you skilled in toolmaking and looking for your next challenge Are you a toolmaker looking for the right company to use and develop your skills Are you looking to work in a well appointed toolroom in a great team

Kingscroft are recruiting for a Toolmaker to work within a plastics manufacturer.

The role will be to make , modify and maintain tools for the manufacturing team in line with the production and maintenance requirements .

You will be skilled in the use of the lathe, milling machines, wire eroders and hand tools to repair and modify extrusion tooling.

My client would welcome CVs from toolmakers outside of their sector alongside confident manual machinists with transferable milling and grinding skills.

Fully trained and competent in operating XYZ milling machines, lathes, and precision surface grinder.

  • Required to use 2d Auto CAD software.
  • Ability to manufacture and build tools from start to finish, including tooling modifications when tool testing.
  • Able to program and operate (FANUC) EDM wire eroders, CNC EDM Die sinker and CNC Spark drill.
  • Work effectively as part of a small toolmaking team and working alongside the on-site development team when tool trials / testing.
