Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor or Junior QS to support the cost forecast and cost control or various development, refurbishment and retrofit programmes across their customer base.
As the ideal candidate you will be a Graduate QS or have trained in a QS , Cost or Construction Management team. You will be happy being office based in Cannock and get out to UK based customer sites.
Your role will involve:
Cost Forecasting and Control:
- Production of cost forecasts to support acquisition and feasibility reports
- Production of specifications for Landlords dilapidations, repairs and enabling works
- Preparation of capital investment and ongoing revenue expenditure reports
- Standardisation of cost control documentation and matrices
- Production of Bills of Quantities
- Client advice and risk analysis
Tender Documentation and Procurement
- Preparation of tender documentation and management of tender process
- Cost analysis and tender reporting,
- Value engineering
- Valuations and cost management
- Final account reporting and reconciliation
Other Duties
- Understanding and advising on procurement strategy
- Assisting with measured building surveys and inspections
- Pro-active liaison with Clients and their representatives
- Production and Updating of internal reports
- Defect reporting and cost estimations
- Liaison with internal team
- Any other duties required by the needs of the business.
