We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our warm and supportive school community, working with pupils including those with Special Educational Needs to inspire, encourage and make a real difference every day. This full-time role includes Learning Support Assistant duties supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Kingsclere CE Primary is a ‘Good’ school where pupils ‘flourish in a welcoming and supportive school’ and ‘build strong, positive relationships with staff and each other’ (Ofsted, November 2024). We are proud of our nurturing ethos and inclusive approach, and we are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will support pupils with Special Educational Needs, including those with SEMH needs, working closely with class teachers and our Special Educational Needs Coordinator. You will support children 1:1, in small groups and in class, helping to accelerate learning, promote independence and ensure pupils feel safe, happy and able to thrive. The role will also include supporting play at break and a half hour of lunchtime cover each week.
