Base pay range
Position: Fully/Part Qualified Financial Reporting Accountant
Location: West Midlands
Salary bands: £33,000 - £42,000 plus bonus and extensive benefits package.

About the role
You will be responsible for ensuring clients’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner whilst ensuring all opportunities for added value are identified.
- Assisting in the preparation of more complex statutory accounts and review of disclosures under a range of accounting frameworks, including FRS102 and IFRS
- Assist with the review of statutory accounts for Charities, partnerships and limited companies.
- Preparation of integrated cash flow and Consolidation working schedules
- Client relationship building and assisting management with maintenance of client portfolios.
- Ensuring completion of assigned areas of work within the time budget and deadlines to the standard set and with a minimum of supervision by the manager
- Seeking to continuously improve systems and procedures
- Prioritising your own work and deadlines
- Being up to date with technical knowledge and changes in the accountancy profession, driving best practice in the team and ensuring the team continues to develop.
- Monitoring and adhering to deadlines, ensuring client work is completed in line with client expectations.
- Liaising with the other departments in the firm and having awareness services on offer.
About you
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an Accountancy Practice Firm
- Basic knowledge of accounting packages and statutory accounts preparation software (ideally CaseWare experience)
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102 with preferably some knowledge of IFRS
- Strong time management and delegative skills
