Job Description
Home Manager (Elderly Care) – Kingsacre Care Home Full-time | Salary - £65,000 - £70,000 (DOE) & Benefits
Care homes are more than just places to live - they're communities where people feel valued, supported, and truly at home.

At Care Concern Group, we're proud to create environments where exceptional care and compassionate leadership go hand in hand.

We're looking for an experienced Home Manager to lead Kingsacre Care Home, our purpose-built 66-bed nursing, residential, dementia and respite care home.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a luxury service with a strong reputation, stable occupancy, and a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional resident care.

Kingsacre has strong foundations, with occupancy at 92% and a recent CI inspection rating of 4,4,4,5,4, and we're looking for a leader who can continue to build on this success by driving quality, developing people, and delivering an outstanding experience for residents and their families.

Supported by an experienced Regional Director, Regional Support Manager, and collaborative senior leadership team, you'll have the autonomy to shape the home's future while benefiting from the support of one of the UK's leading care providers.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the home with confidence, compassion, and accountability.
  • Ensure exceptional standards of nursing, residential, dementia and respite care, always putting residents at the heart of every decision.
  • Build on the home's recent quality improvements, ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance and continued excellence.
  • Inspire, coach and develop your leadership team and wider workforce, identifying opportunities for learning and continuous development.
  • Sustain occupancy while supporting the growth of private-funded placements and managing staffing costs in line with budget.
  • Manage budgets effectively and deliver strong operational performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, regulators, healthcare professionals and the local community.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive culture where colleagues feel engaged, supported and empowered to deliver outstanding care.
  • Work closely with operational support teams across the business to ensure continued success and readiness for future inspections.

What We're Looking For
This opportunity is ideal for a leader who combines operational excellence with genuine compassion.
You'll bring:

  • At least two years' experience as a Home Manager within an elderly care setting.
  • Experience managing a nursing, residential and/or dementia service, ideally within a home of 50+ beds.
  • A proven ability to lead successful teams, drive continuous improvement and create a positive, supportive culture.
  • Strong operational and financial awareness, with an understanding of occupancy growth, budget management and workforce planning.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with residents, families, regulators, healthcare professionals and community partners.
  • A leadership style that is fair, consistent and collaborative, with the ability to inspire confidence following previous management changes.
  • A passion for coaching and developing teams while maintaining exceptionally high standards.
  • A nursing qualification would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
  • What You'll Get in Return
  • Performance-related bonus opportunities of up to 40% of salary per annum
  • Generous annual leave entitlement
  • Company pension scheme
  • Ongoing professional development and leadership support
  • The opportunity to lead a well-established luxury care home with excellent facilities and a committed team
  • The support of an experienced, values-driven senior leadership team committed to helping you succeed
