Use technology to help transform the lives of young people. At The King's Trust, technology plays a vital role in helping us support young people to build confidence, develop skills and move into work. We're looking for a Service Owner to take ownership of a portfolio of technology services, ensuring they deliver real value to our colleagues and the young people we support. Working closely with frontline teams, architects, suppliers and technology specialists, you'll shape services that are reliable, secure and user-centred. You'll understand how our services are delivered in practice, using those insights to continuously improve the technology that underpins them.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll own the end-to-end lifecycle of your technology services, ensuring they continue to evolve in line with organisational priorities and user needs.
  • Own and develop the service roadmap, balancing user feedback, business priorities and technology strategy.
  • Work closely with frontline colleagues and stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into effective technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, suppliers and technology teams to deliver secure, scalable and accessible services.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, using feedback and performance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor service performance, manage risks and ensure services support The King's Trust's long-term strategic goals.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience owning, improving or supporting technology services and delivering successful technology initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate complexity.
  • Experience gathering user requirements and using feedback to shape service improvements.
  • A collaborative approach, with a passion for delivering technology that enables people to do their best work.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the technology that supports our colleagues, volunteers and young people every day. You’ll work as part of a collaborative technology team, influencing how services evolve while helping ensure every digital investment makes a meaningful difference. Last year, we helped more than 40,000 Young People, with three in four young people on our programmes moving into a positive outcome in work, education or training. The young people we help face a range of challenges, such as unemployment, mental health issues or some who have been in trouble with the law. We believe all young people should have the chance to succeed, and that young people are the key to a positive and prosperous future for all of us. We want to continue having a positive impact on young people’s lives and we couldn’t do this without the important work of Service Owners!
