Key Purpose of the Job: The core focus of this role is to carry out the maintenance, reactive calls, and the installation of fire extinguishers in accordance with British Standard 5306 Part 3 2017. You will be working with a team of 7 extinguisher technicians nationally.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Installing, servicing, and maintaining portable fire extinguishers for National, Key and Local accounts.
- Working in line with current standards and customer requirements.
- Planning and completing call visits within the nominated area, ensuring maximum efficiency and best use of resources.
- Building professional and effective relationships with a wide client base.
- Being accountable for ensuring effective area planning to maximise travel time and time on customer premises to achieve KPIs.
- Effectively communicating with customers to ensure a good understanding of system/equipment status.
- Providing excellent levels of customer service at all times.
- Managing and securing vehicle stock, tools, and equipment.
- Completing site surveys for new and additional equipment.
- Working in safe practice at all times, in line with EFire and customers' health and safety procedures.
- Any other reasonable requests from management.
The post holder will ensure the health, safety, and welfare of themselves and their team in accordance with the Kings Policy.

Essential requirements for the Job:
- Applicants must be BAFE SP101 registered fire extinguisher technicians.
- Experience of front-line customer service.
- Ability to work unsupervised with the capability to problem solve.
- Full driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel for work and training when required.
- Self-motivated.
