Key Purpose of the Job
To provide mobile patrol response services to various Kings Security sites, responding to alarm activations, undertaking locks/unlocks, mobile patrols and Void Property Inspections, and providing support and back‑up at various assignments in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Hold a valid and up‑to‑date driving licence.
- Use a company vehicle to provide mobile response for various Kings sites within a designated area, including Alarm Response, Lock & Unlock tasks, Mobile Patrols, and Void Property Inspections.
- Respond promptly to alarm activations, emergencies and support static guards on site.
- Liaise with customers regarding security or other assignment‑related issues.
- Remain flexible and adapt to changing scenarios while ensuring problems are resolved to customer satisfaction.
- Complete all relevant documentation clearly and legibly during each duty tour.
- Report any security matters to the Kings Control Room and, if required, escalate to management.
- Ensure the quality of service matches customer requirements and company standards.
- Handle problems raised by customers and inform the Kings Control Room.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance.
- Identify personal training needs and inform line management.
- Undertake welfare inspections on static sites when required.
- Patrol customer premises to act as a visual deterrent, reporting any suspicious activity.
- Implement and comply with organisational information security policies.
- Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference.
- Implement security processes or activities as requested by management.
- Report security events or potential risks to the Kings Control Room.
Essential Requirements
- Attend the Company’s Induction Training Course, including obtaining the SIA Licence.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Remain courteous, vigilant and alert throughout a 12‑hour shift.
- Work calmly and professionally under pressure.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Computer literate and confident using technological equipment.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Requirements
- Clean driving licence preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of security operations preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
