The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

The King’s School – one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in the country, located within the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustin’s Abbey, a World Heritage Site. The School requires a flexible person to undertake a wide range of security and access control duties across the School Estate.

The position involves a high degree of interface with academic and support staff, parents, pupils and members of the general public, so excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation are a pre-requisite.

Previous security experience in corporate environments, a current SIA Level 2 Door Supervisor Licence and a full UK driving licence are essential. You will be required to work 22 hours per week, 35 weeks per year. These hours/days will be notified in advance by the Head of Security.

All applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Online checks will also be carried out on shortlisted candidates.
