Job description:

Casual hours available plus a contracted 10 hours per week (term time). Contracted hours: 2 positions working 18:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday. For the casual roles, this involves transporting pupils and staff across a variety of routes, including regular school journeys, evening activities, and occasional weekend or holiday trips.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safely operating school minibuses and ensuring all journeys run on time
  • Conducting pre‑journey vehicle checks and reporting maintenance issues
  • Ensuring the safety, comfort, and discipline of all passengers
  • Liaising with school staff to plan routes, timings, and collections

Applicants must hold a full, clean UK driving licence with D/D1 entitlement and have previous experience driving minibuses. The role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding children and young people. All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check.
