The King's School, Canterbury is seeking a British Fencing registered Epee Coach (Level 2 or above) to join the coaching team full-time from September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach beginners and experienced youth fencers in Epee.
- Support the delivery and development of the Fencing Programme at all levels of fencing at the King’s School and Junior King’s School.
- Assist with armoury work and administration.
- Support pupils at internal and external competitions, including weekends and overnight stays.
Qualifications and Experience
- British Fencing registered Epee Coach, Level 2 or above.
- Proven experience coaching within a school environment.
- Excellent communication, organisational and punctuality skills.
- Team‑orientated, able to work as part of an ambitious team.
- Experience of armoury work and refereeing is advantageous.
Remuneration and Hours
£23,000 to £25,000 per annum for 30 hours per week, 34 weeks per year (inclusive of holiday pay).
