Kings Rising is a community for men building tech careers with purpose.
We support men already in tech and men trying to get into it, bringing people together on one path where career growth and personal growth happen side by side.
We don't just help someone get a job, we help them become someone who can grow and lead in it.
Our coaching team is growing, and we're looking for a Career Coaches for each track: software engineering, tech sales, data science, product management, and cybersecurity.
As a Career Coach at Kings Rising, you'll focus on one track and help members working towards roles in that area.
Through your own experience in the field, you'll support members with job search strategy, interview prep, and career moves.
This is a remote, voluntary role for now, open to people in the UK or the US, and it becomes paid as Kings Rising grows.
You'll agree a set number of hours each week based on what you can commit to and you'll work closely with the wider Kings Rising team to help shape how we support members.
About The Role
- You'll help members plan their job search and career moves in your track.
- You'll lead workshops, group sessions, and mock interviews.
- You'll help with CV and Linked In reviews.
- You'll help improve the coaching tools and resources we use.
Requirements
Current experience in your track: software engineering, tech sales, data science, product management or cybersecurity
- Comfortable mentoring or coaching others
- Great communication and listening skills
- A clear sense of what it takes to get into or grow in tech
- Able to work well on your own in a remote team
- Organised enough to manage a groups
