Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a General Office Services Assistant to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will provide essential day-to-day facilities support, reprographics services, and general office assistance to ensure smooth operations for staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage incoming and outgoing post, courier bookings, and deliveries, including scanning and distribution.
- Carry out regular post collections and distributions across all office floors.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of stationery and office supplies.
- Conduct daily checks of printer and copier paper levels across the floors.
- Support room set-ups, office moves, and workspace changes as required.
- Manage confidential waste and recycling collections; ensure refuse areas remain tidy and well-maintained.
- Maintain organisation of external office storage and archive areas.
- Assist the reprographics team with all document-related services, including high-volume printing, scanning, photocopying, binding, and finishing.
- Ensure all work is accurate, high-quality, and completed on time.
Ideally you will have:
- Previous experience in facilities, office support, or reprographics (law firm experience advantageous).
- Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks.
