Property Inspector / Inventory Clerk The successful candidate who fulfills this varied role will spend much of each working day visiting properties to undertake various tasks which include the production of condition inspections to ensure they remain in good condition, produce reports to evidence and dispatch to the relevant landlord. Property Inspector / Inventory Clerk Via bespoke software, you will compile detailed reports which record the overall condition of a property prior to any tenants moving in. Re-visiting the properties midway through an active tenancy to check on the condition, produce a brief report and then dispatch this to the relevant landlord concerned. Discussing with the tenants in occupation any maintenance-based issues that may be evident. Where relevant, liaising with our Property Managers to ensure maintenance based issues are resolved. Property Inspector / Inventory Clerk If the property is not being maintained to an acceptable condition you will discuss this with the tenants whilst at the property and put a simple plan in place with them to improve the situation. Inspecting the property prior to the end of a tenancy to produce a ‘check out’ report which will again record the general condition of the property at that time just prior to the tenants moving out.
