About the Role
This is a hands-on, career-building position offering the perfect blend of day-to-day block management, client relationship management, and strategic business development.
You’ll be responsible for a diverse portfolio of residential blocks and commercial units—many let to local authorities or via long‑term brokers—while being fully supported to expand and strengthen our block management operations.
You’ll work directly with the C‑suite, gaining exposure to high‑level decision‑making and real opportunities for long‑term growth and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a mixed portfolio of residential blocks and commercial units
- Act as the main liaison between landlords, leaseholders, tenants, brokers, and contractors
- Oversee long‑term rental agreements with local councils and housing providers
- Organise maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, compliance checks, and major works
- Prepare and manage service charge budgets
- Conduct regular site inspections to uphold property standards
- Handle Section 20 notices and leasehold matters
- Identify and win new block management opportunities
- Support with onboarding new instructions and clients
- Manage insurance, budgets, and cost efficiencies
- Provide property performance insights to senior management
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in block management (residential essential; commercial advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of leasehold law, service charges, and compliance
- Experience liaising with local councils and housing brokers
- Confident managing maintenance and contractors
- IRPM qualification (or studying toward it) desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Commercially minded, proactive, and growth-oriented
- Able to work independently and manage your own portfolio effectively
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
