Overview: An opportunity to empower students to reach their full potential by delivering tailored support that enhances learning, engagement, and well-being. Support students by implementing appropriate strategies and techniques to enable them to access the curriculum, actively engage in high-quality classroom learning, and achieve their full potential. Take responsibility for delivering planned learning activities and supporting teaching programmes, as agreed with teaching staff, adapting approaches in response to students’ needs. Contribute to measurable improvements in student attainment, as well as their social and emotional development. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school support services, supporting learners in a mainstream secondary school setting focused on academic achievement and personal development.

About Kings Oak Academy: King’s Oak Academy is situated in the heart of the South Gloucestershire community and is within easy commuting distance of Bristol and Bath. The academy has been part of the Cabot Learning Federation since 2011 and enjoys the benefits from being part of a mature, successful multi-academy trust offering access to high-quality professional services and opportunities to work collaboratively with experienced colleagues across the trust.
