Kings Norton Nursery School are seeking a passionate and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in our 3 year-old provision for a one year fixed term contract in the first instance. The candidate will need to be a positive and flexible team member, working in an environment where everyone feels welcomed, safe, respected and valued.

Responsibilities

  • Support small groups of children in our 3 year old provision.
  • Work alongside teaching and support staff in order to deliver high quality teaching and learning opportunities for children.
  • Work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
  • Support with personal care, healthy eating, embedding nursery routines and speech and language.
  • Ensure adequate supervision of the children at all times and deal with the needs of the children on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and procedures are followed at all times.
