We are seeking two passionate and dedicated Sports Coach's (male and female) to inspire and develop athletes of all ages and skill levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing training programmes, delivering engaging coaching sessions, and fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in sports coaching and teaching to make a meaningful impact on participants’ development. The role is full time, 40 hours a week, during term time (36 weeks) with 5 weeks flexible working during the holidays to run extra curricula activities, and comes with 5.6 weeks paid holidays (total of 46.6 weeks a year and £12.53 per hour).

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver effective coaching sessions tailored to the needs of individual athletes or teams
  • Develop customised training programmes to improve skills, fitness, and tactical understanding
  • Motivate and encourage athletes to achieve their personal bests while maintaining a safe environment
  • Monitor progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback
  • Organise team practices, competitions, and community events to promote active participation
  • Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations
  • Foster a positive team spirit and promote good sportsmanship among participants
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in a clean, organised condition

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching within a relevant sport or activity
  • Strong understanding of coaching principles, techniques, and safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Organised with the ability to plan sessions effectively and adapt programmes as needed
  • Enthusiastic, approachable, and capable of working with diverse age groups and skill levels
  • Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential for entry-level positions

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sports education who wish to contribute positively to their community through active engagement and skill development.
