We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable, and skilled professional to lead curriculum planning and implementation within our Nurture Hub at Kings. This will be a full-time position for a fixed term of 2 years in the first instance. The ideal candidate will be prepared to teach across the curriculum, with a focus on Year 7 & 10 English, Maths, and Humanities. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong pastoral skills, ensuring a supportive environment for all students.

We welcome applications from both qualified and unqualified teachers. Experience teaching KS2, knowledge of The Nurture Approach, an understanding of ELSA principles or experience delivering a Forest School curriculum will all be advantageous.

  • Salary: Teachers Unqualified £24,066 - £36,718 or Qualified Main to Upper Pay Scale (Fringe) £34,398 - £52,490

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for the provision of high quality teaching and learning in relation to assigned students and classes
  • To advise and co-operate with the senior leader responsible for the Nurture Hub and other staff on the preparation and development of programmes of study / schemes of work
  • To prepare, organise and deliver high quality lessons utilising appropriate materials/resources while conforming to established programmes of study.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
  • Teaching or HLTA experience
  • Ability to evidence effective continuous professional development
